You should be able to see which are already purchased (or on hold for approval) when you click through to the particular painting. But I don’t do a great job keeping up with the admin. Also I have not posted all of my 5x7’s. It is just too time-consuming to keep up with them. Ask me about them if you are interested in these.

ABOUT the 5x7’s

I often clamp a small panel on top my easel when working on a larger one. When I'm really in flow (and not too hungry, bug bitten, cold and tired) I distill what I have been working on into a short burst of intensity in the final moments. Often into the dark. By the time I jump into the small piece I have the best understanding of what is happening, and how to translate, that I will have on that outing. They are quick takes made possible by the foregoing effort. I often like these better than any of the more ambitious larger pieces. I am in flow and have released expectations. I couldn't whip them off in minutes without the ears of yearning to further explore my creative energies, life experience, learning to look/think, the hours of paint mixing, gear, and panel prep, the time finding and traveling to the site, the many duds I learned from, and the last several hours of trying to make that bigger panel sing....to get to these final minutes of high-flow 5x7 clarity.
