Oil on Gesso Paper 7.5 x 24 inches

This is one of my early attempts at multiple takes on the same evening. In this series I made three observations all on the same panel. I taped the three sections off before I started painting. The truth is I had taped off a six section panel. But I arrived late and ran out of steam. Still was pleased as I had never done three in one sitting. It is a very beautiful place. One of my favorite quick-access sites.
